How do I duplicate a note?
Open the note and choose File › Duplicate, or press ⌘D.
- Open the note you want to copy and click in its pane.
- Choose File › Duplicate, or press ⌘D.
- The copy opens. Its title ends in Copy, and it sits in the same folder as the original.
Shortcut: ⌘D
Other ways
- Right-click the note's tab and choose Duplicate.
- Right-click the note's row or card in a database, or in the All notes list, and choose Duplicate.
Good to know
- With a block selected, ⌘D duplicates the block instead of the note.
- The copy keeps tags, properties, cover and attachments. It gets new created and updated dates.
- If the name is taken, Terra adds a number.
- Databases can't be duplicated. To copy a view, use Duplicate view.
