Press ⌘K, type what you want to do, and press Return.
- Press ⌘K. The command palette opens over the window.
- Type part of a command's name, such as "new note" or "zen". Notes, databases and Settings pages show up too.
- Use ↑ and ↓ to pick a row, then press Return. Press Esc to close the palette.
Shortcut: ⌘K
Other ways
- Put Command palette in the toolbar: right-click the toolbar, choose Customize toolbar…, and drag it in from the Command library.
Good to know
- A command's shortcut shows at the end of its row.
- Type a question, such as "how do I duplicate a note", to find answers under Help.
- With nothing typed, the palette lists only the commands you can run right now. When you search, commands that can't run are dimmed, with the reason underneath.
- To search the text of your notes, press ⇧⌘F instead.
