How do I rename an option everywhere?

1. Click a select or multi-select value on a note, or in a database cell, to open its picker.
2. Click ⋯ beside the option and choose Rename option....
3. Type the new name and press Return. Every note with that option changes.

Other ways

• In Tools › Property Manager…, select the property, click the option under Options and choose Rename.
• To fold one option into another, choose Merge into... and pick the one to keep. Terra shows how many notes will change and asks first.

Good to know

• Renaming to a name that already exists merges the two options. Merging can't be undone.
• Delete option only removes it from the list. Notes keep the value, shown under Not an option yet.
• A note's type is renamed in Property Manager › Types, not here.
