How do I change a note's or folder's icon?
Right-click the note's title or the folder's row and choose Change icon.
- For a note, right-click its title. For a folder, right-click it under Folders in the sidebar.
- Choose Change icon.
- Type in Search icons to narrow the list, then click an icon.

- Databases, views and the sidebar's built-in rows have Change icon on their right-click menus too.
Good to know
- Icons come from Terra's own symbol set. Emoji aren't offered.
- A note's icon is saved in the note and shows beside it in databases.
- A folder's icon is kept on this Mac only. Moving the folder resets it.
