How do I switch a view's layout?

Open View preferences, pick a new Layout on the Layout tab, and click Save view.

  1. Open the database and choose the view in the view menu in its header.
  2. Click View preferences at the right end of the header.
  3. On the Layout tab, pick a Layout: Table, Board, List, Cards, Feed, Calendar, Timeline, Map, Graph or Canvas.
  4. Click Save view.

Shortcut: ⇧⌘V moves the current view to the next layout and saves it.

Good to know

  • A view keeps its settings for each layout, so switching back brings them back.
  • While View preferences is open, ⇧⌘V changes the draft too. Nothing is saved until you click Save view.
  • To keep the current layout as well, add a view instead of switching this one.
  • Trash offers only Table and Cards.
