How do I control what the agent can change?

1. Open AI conversations.
2. Open the … menu beside the message box and choose Mode. On the Ask page, click the mode button beside the message box instead.
3. Pick Ask for approval, Approve for me or Full access.
4. Raising the mode asks you to confirm. Click Allow.
5. In Ask for approval, each read or edit waits as a card in the chat. Click Approve or Deny.

Other ways

• On a waiting card, click Edit before approving to change an edit first, or Allow reads in this chat to let later reads through.

Good to know

• Approve for me lets reads and edits run on their own. Full access also opens web pages without asking.
• Every edit is listed under Chat options › Changes. Click Revert, or Revert all, to undo.
• The mode applies to the whole library on this Mac. Lowering it never asks.
• Outside Full access, Terra asks each time before the assistant opens a web page.
