How do I chat with AI about my notes?

1. Click AI conversations in the toolbar. For a full-page chat, click Ask in the sidebar instead.
2. To include a note, open the … menu beside the message box and choose On screen for the note you have open, or Search library to find another. On the Ask page, this menu is Attach.
3. Type your question in Ask anything and press Return.
4. To use a different model, click the model name under the message box.

Other ways

• In a note, click AI in the editor's toolbar for Continue writing, Improve writing, Fix grammar or Summarize. Select text first to improve or fix it.

Good to know

• Connect a provider first. Until you do, the panel offers Open AI settings.
• New chat starts over. Chat history lists earlier chats, which are saved in your library.
• Make a note turns the chat into a note in Inbox.
• The assistant can read and edit your notes. You choose how much it does on its own.
