How do I add files from Finder?

Drag files from Finder onto a folder in the sidebar.

Checked against Terra 0.1.0
  1. Select files or folders in Finder.
  2. Drag them onto a folder under Folders in the sidebar. Dropped on the window instead, they go to Inbox.
  3. If Terra asks, check the list and click Add.
  4. One file opens right away. For several, click Show on the message that says how many were added.

Shortcut: none

Other ways

  • Drop onto a note's row in a database to add the files to that note's folder.
  • Drop or paste files into a note's text to attach them to that note. Images appear in the text; other files become links.

Good to know

  • Terra copies files. The originals stay where they are.
  • PDFs, images, EPUB books, spreadsheets, HTML pages and Markdown open in Terra. Other files get a note that links to them.
  • Files over 256 MB are skipped.
  • If a dropped folder's name is taken, choose Create new folder or Merge.
